A BRIEF HISTORY
OF CIRCUIT CARS
Started by Alan Hutchings the
company was originally called Green Star.
Green Star monopolised the work during the daytime, while another small
local company then called Woodside Cars took the majority of work during
the evening, after a couple of years helping one another cover their busy
periods the two companies amalgamated and in 1975 Circuit Cars was formed.
Always looking to progress, in 1981 Circuit invested in a fleet of new
cars with the hope that licensing was on the horizon. Circuit were based
in Woodside Green, an out skirt of Croydon for nearly twenty years, but it
was decided that if the company was going to expand then it would need a
more central location, so in 1994 Circuit relocated to South End Croydon,
now probably the busiest night spot in the area. Now we are fully licensed
and operate a completely computerised data despatch system catering for
all needs from the local shopping run to blue chip accounts. |
